A weblog, or blog for short, is a website where entries
are made in journal style and displayed in a chronological order,
the last entry at the top.  Some weblogs focus on a specific topic, but most are like online diaries.
 
Each weblog is kept by one person or group of persons,
but others can submit comments and input. The keeper
of the weblog then decides whether or not to add these comments and input to his or her blog or not.

A typical weblog contains text, images and links to other weblogs or webpages on a specific topic. Most weblogs are public, but one would need to have the name of the weblog to be able to access it.
 
Also on the BaiBoo website members can keep a weblog.
Each member can create the name for her own weblog.
Members can then inform family and friends and give them
the username, so that they can also access this weblog.
 
Visitors of the weblog can submit comments, but only the keeper of the weblog, the BaiBoo member, can decide to publish
the comments or  not.
