The book helps its readers understand the normal processes of pregnancy and childbirth. The chapters are written in the form of frequently-asked-questions.
The last chapter adds a ‘local flavour’ to the book by discussing the cultural practices and traditions with the merits of herbal medicines in pregnancy.

'Is My Pregnancy Normal?' is a very practical and straightforward book, containing lots of questions and answers. The book is written by two obstetricians, which makes the information given very reliable and accurate. Reading the questions, and answers to it, makes it all very easy to understand. Not only do the authors explain what is happening during pregnancy. At least as important is that they go into the ‘why’ and ‘how’. To clarify even further, illustrations have been added. The book provides a good insight in in what to expect in this exciting and sometimes unpredictable journey. It's a great source of information, especially for first time moms.
